Hi! I’m Tyler, thanks for stopping by! My goal is to empower individuals to take their website presence into their own hands.
I remember the first time I was asked to take on building a website for a client…
I was at a networking event and a roommate of mine grabbed me and said they met someone looking for a website. At the time I was going to college for Interactive Web Management, a degree in digital marketing and web design.
I walked up to a gentleman and we started talking. His wife was looking for a new website for her health and nutrition company and asked if I could help. I accepted the job.
Did I know a thing about how to design a website at that time? Nope.
Was I freaking out wondering what the hell did I get myself into? Yup!
But, I took matters into my own hands and came across Squarespace, a do-it-yourself website builder.
I started a free trial and learned how simple it was to create a beautiful website without knowing a line of code. My doubts disappeared and I was hooked.
Safe to say, I successfully learned how to build and launch a website on my own. To this day, I have continued to use Squarespace for building my clients websites along with my own projects.
And now I want to share what I have learned with you.
How I can help you
Most likely you are in one of two boats:
You know you need a website, but don’t know where to begin and don’t want to pay a developer thousands of dollars to do your website and then leave you hanging
You have a Squarespace website, but have no idea how to update and maintain it to get more traffic, leads, and sales for your business.
I get it, building and maintaining a website yourself can seem scary and overwhelming.
But that’s what I am here for.
I’m a Squarespace designer and trainer that helps entrepreneurs and small business owners start, build and grow their website presence.
I offer Squarespace training and support services like 1:1 training, building a website together, on-demand training libraries, courses (soon to come!), and other types of content so that you can become the master of your own craft.
I’m here to:
Teach you how to build a website from scratch, from website planning to site launching, without breaking the bank
Train you how to update, maintain, and grow your website into a business generating machine
Show you how to use the best tools and resources to get the most out of your Squarespace website
Ever since I was a little kid I loved building, creating and designing. I would design roller coasters and theme parks on RollerCoaster Tycoon, build my own mini-golf courses and create my own Lincoln Logs towns. The thing I loved most about my creative endeavors was sharing the final product with my family and friends and seeing their reactions. This inspired me to keep building, creating and designing better things.
As I went on to high school and college I never knew exactly what I wanted to do, so I gravitated towards marketing and ended up graduating with a degree in Interactive Web Management from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
That brings me to where I am today in Minneapolis working full-time for a software company, Siteimprove, as a Demand Generation Specialist.
As life moved on and the responsibilities of growing up increased, I realized I lost sight of my love for building, creating and designing. As a result, this website was born so I could get back to doing what I love most and sharing my journey with others along the way.
A little more about me
As a Squarespace designer and trainer, I live by these values to help provide the best possible experience for my followers.
Don’t be afraid to try new things - If I wouldn’t try new things, how can we grow? While it’s not always easy, stepping out of your comfort zone can be incredibly rewarding.
Create something new every day - I’m a big believer in Always.Be.Creating. Everyone is a creator in their own art. By creating and designing every day I am able to help people achieve BIG results.
Making a difference in the lives of others - The secret to living is giving. I enjoy giving back to my local community and people around the world to help make this world a better place.
Teach what I know and have learned (the good and the bad) - Life is a journey. Whether it’s a good or bad experience, it all makes up part of what we call this story “life.”
Always be thinking of new ideas - One of my passions is locking myself in a quiet place and thinking of as many ideas as possible. This helps keep my mind sharp and fueled with out of the box thoughts.
Family is important.
I wouldn't be where I am today without my family.
My favorite places
* Banff National Park
* Yosemite National Park
* Rome, Italy
* North Shore Minnesota
